Benois de la Danse nominee

Born in Leningrad, USSR. Alovert received her Master Degree in History from the University of Leningrad. Her photographs were featured in the books on ballet by Art Publishing House, magazines and newspapers in USSR. 

She is leaving in America from 1977. She is free-lance photographer and writer for American Magazines (Dance Magazine, Point, Ballet Review) and Russian newspapers (now in Russian Bazaar) and others, also for publication in Russia. Her pictures were published in many books about ballet in different countries.
