Isabelle Guerin, a French dancer, was born in Rosny sous Bois in 1961.
Studied at the Paris Conservatoire and the Paris Opera Ballet School.
Joined the Paris Opera ballet in 1978, received the title of etoile in 1985.

She created roles: in CV 10 by K. Armitage (1984), Cinderella by R. Nureyev (Benois de la Danse first jury member) (1986), In the middle somewhat elevated by W. Forsythe (Benois de la Danse laureate) (1987), Rules of the Game by T. Tharp (1889), and Le Parc by A. Preljocaj (Benois de la Danse laureate) (1994).

A glamorous and versatile dancer she was highly acclaimed in both the classical and modern repertoire. She had also appeared as a guest artist with New York City Ballet.
