Benois de la Danse laureate

She graduated from Sunhwa Arts School (1999), Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington (2002) and joined the Universal Ballet Company in Seoul, where she became a ballerina (2012).

Her repertoire includes: Tatiana (Onegin by John Kranko), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet by Kenneth Macmillan), Odette and Odile (Swan Lake), Giselle in the ballet of the same name, Kitri (Don Quixote), Nikiya and Gamzatti (La Bayadère), Clara (The Nutcracker), Chunhyang from the ballet of the same name and Shimchung also from the ballet of the same name.

She has won a number of awards: Gold medals of the Korean Association of Ballet Competitions (1997, 2003), First place at the Seoul International Competition (2007), the Prima Ballerina Award and from Kim Baekbong of the Korean Ballet Association (2009, 2018).
