Amanda Gomes was born in 1995 inBraziland graduated in 2011 from the Bolshoi School of Brazil in the class of Galina Kravchenko. She is currently a Principal dancer with the Tatar State Opera and Ballet Theater, in Kazan, Russia.

Her repertoire includes Giselle (Giselle);Masha (The Nutcracker); Odette-Odile (Swan Lake); Kitri (Don Quixote);Aurora (Sleeping Beauty);Juliet (Romeo and Juliet); Phrygia (Spartacus);Swanilda (Coppelia);Esmeralda (Esmeralda); Syuimbike (Shurale);Gamzatti (La Bayadère); Gulnara (Le Corsaire); and The Girl (Dona NobisPacem).

Gomes has received many awards, among them Second Prize and Silver Medal at the Moscow International Ballet Competition (2017);
First Prize and Gold Medal at the Varna International Ballet Competition (2016); Second Prize and Special Prize at the Ekaterina Maximova International Arabesque Competition (2014); First Prize at theYouth American Grand Prix (2013); and First Prize at the International Ballet Competition in Istanbul (2012).
