Hyo Hyung Kang was born in 1988 and graduated from the School of Dance of the Korean National University of Arts in 2010. She joined the Korean National Ballet (KNB) in 2009. Now she is Soloist in the KNB.
Among her honors are the Special Prize of the Korean Ballet Association Dancer Competition (2004); the Silver Prize of the Dong-A Dance Competition (2005); Semi-Finalist, International Ballet Competition in Varna (2006);First Prize, Korean New Artist Dance Competition (2008); Finalist, Premio Roma (2008); and Gold Prize, Dong-A Dance Competition (2009).
