Graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy with a master's degree and serves as a postgraduate supervisor at both the Beijing Dance Academy and the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
His creative works span multiple genres, including dance dramas, musicals, and dance productions, including: Sky Road, The Five Stars Rise in the East, The Flag, among others. Many of the works have won major national awards such as the Wenhua Grand Award (China’s highest state honor for professional stage art) and Lotus Award (most prestigious professional dance award in China), solidifying his leading position in China's dance drama field.
Wang Ge holds significant authority in professional circles, and has long been a jury member for the Chinese Lotus Award and an expert for the National Dance Exhibition, dedicating himself to dance education and practice. Through his efforts, he has nurtured numerous outstanding choreographers, making significant contributions to the development of dance circle nationally.
