Olga Esina graduated from the Academy of Russian Ballet in St Petersburg (1996-2004). In 2004-2006 she danced with the Mariinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg. Her repertoire included: Odette-Odille in Swan Lake (Lev Ivanov, Marius Petipa), Kalliope in Apollo (George Balanchine), The Queen of the Dryads in Don Quijote, Lilas Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty (Marius Petipa).

From 2006 in Wiener Staats Ballet. Now she is a Principal dancer of this company. Her roles there: Manon in Manon by Kenneth MacMillan; Juliet in Romeo and Juliet by John Cranko; Odette-Odille in Swan Lake by Rudolf Nyreyev; Bella in Die Fledermaus by Roland Petit; Anna in Anna Karenina by Boris Eifman; Grand pas in Paquita; Hamsatti in La Bayadère by Vladimir Malachov; Maria in Nutcracker and Swanilda in Coppelia — both by Gyila Harangozo; Glow Stop and Titania in A Midsummer Nights Dream — both by Jorma Elos; Pas de deux Slingerland by William Forstyle; Marie Antoinette in Marie Antoinette by Patrick de Bana; Theme and Variations and Violin concerto — both by George Balanchine; Aurora in The Sleeping beauty by Peter Wright; In the night and Glas pieces — both by Jerome Robbins; Ada in La Concours by Maurice Bejart; Bach Suite 3 by John Neumeier.
