Taciana Cascelli is from Pittsburgh, PA (USA). At age 9 she began her ballet training in the private ballet school Centro Mineiro de Dancas Classicas. There she danced her first big roles, in ballets such as “Don Quixote“, “Sleeping Beauty” and „Giselle”.

In the summer of 1992 Miss Cascelli was invited as an apprentice by the National Ballet of Cuba to perform in the Ballets “Swan Lake“ and „Coppelia”.

In 1994 she joined the Israel Ballet, Tel Aviv where she performed in Michail Fokine's'Les Sylphides," George Balanchine's “Symfony in C“ as well as „Cinderella.”

Since 1995 Miss Cascelli has been dancing with the Aalto Ballet Theater Essen, where she is performing as a principal dancer in the entire repertoire, including the ballets by John Cranko, Ramon Oller, Maryse Delente, Birgot Scherzer, Daniela Kurz, Richard Wherlock.
