Benois de la Danse laureate

Born in Tver. Is a principal dancer at the Bolshoi Ballet which he joined in 2010 after graduating with honors from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (the Bolshoi Ballet Academy). Master-repetiteur is Alexander Vetrov.

Repertoire: Prince Siegfried (Swan Lake), the Nutcracker-Prince (Nutcracker), Count Albrecht (Giselle), Basilio (Don Quixote), Prince Desire (The Sleeping Beauty), Solor (La Bayadere), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), James (La Sylphide), Pechorin (A Hero of Our Time), Lensky (Onegin), Crassus (Spartacus), Trigorin (The Seagull) and others. Choreographer: “Flore et Zéphire, or Metamorphoses” to the music. F. Venua and O. A. Kozlovsky, “Variations on the Anatolian Folk Song” by C. Domeniconi, “Serenade” by B. Laureate of the 2nd Prize of The Young Ballet Artists Competition, which took place in Krasnoyarsk in 2010. Laureate of the interregional “New and Promising” competition in 2017. Laureate of the Positano Léonide Massine Prize (in the Dancer of the Year on the International Stage nomination). Was awarded a Golden Mask in 2021.

In 2015 he graduated with honors from the ballet master department of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. In 2019 he got a master’s degree from the Institute of Public Service and Management in “state and municipal management”. Has been studying as an assistant trainee at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography since 2021.
