She joined the KNBC in 1998 after graduating from the Moscow Bolshoi Ballet School in 1997. Soon she has become the most beloved ballerina in Korea for her brilliant brain, appealing acting, and beautiful torso. Possesses ample room to transform herself from the naive Giselle into the sultry and ambitious Yegina in Spartacus. During the tour to Japan in April 2002, the local critics wrote “She's a born actress“. In May, she and Jang Unkyu, KNBC's principal dancer, were invited to guest as the lea ding dancers in the Don Quixote of Japan's New National Theater Ballet Company, where she was appraised as a „Korean star with super technique and beauty” by the Asahi News.

Leading roles in 2000-2001 KNBC's Yuri Grigorovich Trilogy-Spartacus, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker, participated in the 1999“Ballet Stars of Korea” sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; performed Pas de Deux with the world star Irek Mukhamedov in the «World Dance 2000, World Star Gala Performance». She also worked as a public relations ambassador for the 2002Korea-Japan World Cup. She was invited to take the leading role in Swan Lake with Rumania's Bucharest National Opera Ballet in January this year. Many famous ballerinas from all over the world were invited to this performance which was such a huge success that she was invited to the June performance as well. Currently working as a fashion and commercial model.
