June 18, 2025, The Bolshoi Theatre
On the evening of June 18th, the first part of the program featured excerpts from Yuri Grigorovich’s finest ballets, while the second part was devoted to contemporary choreography.
The stage welcomed stars from the world’s leading ballet companies: Svetlana Zakharova, Farukh Ruzimatov, Lucia Lacarra, and Matthew Golding, as well as the newly crowned Benois laureate Joshua Williams and his partner Mia Coomber from Cape Ballet Africa (South Africa). The Bolshoi Theatre was represented by Vladislav Lantratov, Ekaterina Krysanova, Mikhail Lobukhin, Dmitry Smilevsky (2025 Benois laureate), Igor Tsvirko, Artemy Belyakov, Alena Kovaleva, and Maria Koshkaryova. From the Mariinsky Theatre, Oksana Skorik and Nikita Korneev performed, and from the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre — Oksana Kardash and Ivan Mikhalev.
The gala concert was accompanied by the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, conducted by Anton Grishanin.
The Benois Center expresses gratitude for many years of cooperation to designer Igor Chapurin and the CHAPURIN House, as well as to Artemy Lebedev’s Studio and the Russian Winehouse Abrau-Durso.
