Aurelie Dupont entered the Paris Opera Ballet school in 1983. In 1986, at the age of 16, she was admitted to the Paris Opera corps-de-ballet.

In 1992 she received Gold Medal at the Varna Ballet competition (junior category), in1993 — Prize of the audience and in 1994 — Prize of Carpeaux Cercle.

These years were very fruitful for the young dancer. She danced a number of new solos, including Gamzatti's Pas-de-deux («La BayadОre», by R. Nureyev) in the program “The Young Dancers“. Roland Petit has chosen her for his ballet „Rhythm of walses”.

In 1996 she danced few principal roles, including: Clara (“Nutcracker” by R. Nureiev); Gamzatti («La BayadОre» by R. Nureiev), The Girl (“Wolf“ by R. Petit), principal solo in „Annunciation” by A. Preljocaj. That year she was promoted the title of the First soloist.

In 1997-1999 she included in her repertoire: Raymonda, Kitri and Gamzatti, Manon (“The Story of Manon“ by K. McMillan), The Chosen One (“Sacre du Printemps” by P. Bausch), one of a principal solos in „Casanova” by A. Preljocaj.

On December 31, after the performance of “Don Quixote” AurОlie Dupont has been honored by the title of Etoile.

In 1999-2001 she danced several new roles: “Sylvia“ (Neumeier), “In The Night“ (Robbins), “Capriccio” (Balanchine), „La Belle au Bois Dormant”, „Cinderella”, «La BayadОre», Nikiya (Nureyev), “Carmen“ (Roland Petit), “A Midsummer Night?s Dream” (Neumeier), „Giselle” (Mats Ek).

The creations of AurОlie Dupont at the Paris Opera are: “Casanova“ (A. Preljocaj), “The Competition“ (M. Bejart), “Perpetuum” (O. Naharin), „Stepping Stones”, „Bella Figura” J. Kylian).
